UK: Choices, choices.
You might have noticed that the shops are full of chocolate Easter eggs! Britain really is a nation of chocolate lovers. In Britain we eat an estimated 660,900 tonnes of chocolate a year, an average of 11kg per person per year. This equates to about 3 bars a week.
On Easter Sunday, people in the UK give each other chocolate eggs. And after Easter, all those eggs go on sale so it’s a great way to find cheap chocolate! For our ethically-minded students, the company Divine sells a Fairtrade selection of Easter eggs - good for the farmers, good for you.
